Gunsmith Shop Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. By leaving a firearm with RTF3TX LLC (the “Shop”) for inspection, cleaning, modification, repair, storage, transfer, or any other gunsmithing service (collectively, “Services”), and/or by purchasing or receiving any firearm from the Shop, you (“Customer”) agree to the terms below.

1. Repairs and Services Are Final
  • All Services are final once performed and/or the firearm is returned to the Customer.

  • No refunds will be provided for labor, diagnostics, cleaning, fitting, installation, modification, or other Services.

  • If parts are ordered specifically for your firearm, all parts sales are final once ordered/installed, except as required by applicable law.

2. Assumption of Responsibility Upon Receipt or Purchase
  • Upon pickup, delivery, transfer, or purchase of any firearm and/or any repaired/modified firearm, the Customer assumes all responsibility for the firearm’s safe handling, storage, transportation, maintenance, and use.

  • The Customer acknowledges that firearms are inherently dangerous and that improper handling, storage, maintenance, ammunition selection, or use may result in property damage, serious injury, or death.

3. Customer Inspection and Acceptance
  • The Customer is responsible for inspecting the firearm at the time of pickup/transfer and confirming the requested Services have been completed.

  • Taking possession of the firearm constitutes acceptance of the firearm and the Services performed.

4. No Guarantee of Performance or Suitability
  • The Shop will perform Services in a professional manner; however, the Shop does not guarantee accuracy, reliability, function, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose beyond any express written warranty provided by the Shop.

  • The Customer is responsible for ensuring the firearm is safe and appropriate for their intended use.

5. Ammunition and Use
  • The Customer agrees to use only safe, commercially manufactured ammunition appropriate for the firearm unless the Shop provides written approval otherwise.

  • The Customer is responsible for test-firing and confirming safe operation in a lawful and controlled environment.

6. Limitation of Liability
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Shop will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the firearm or Services.

  • The Shop’s total liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount paid to the Shop for the specific Service giving rise to the claim, except where prohibited by law.

7. Compliance With Laws
  • The Customer agrees to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding firearm ownership, possession, transfer, transport, and use.

8. Severability
  • If any provision of this Disclaimer is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.​​
Pricing Transparency Policy
  • The package prices listed cover standard flat-rate labor and services. Please note that your final invoice will include the following line items where applicable:

  • Package Flat Rate: The set price for your selected service package.

  • Additional Gunsmithing Labor: Billed at $55/hour for custom work, troubleshooting, or modifications outside the standard package scope. (Note: Gunsmithing labor is a non-taxed service).

  • Parts & Materials: Any components required to complete your build or repair.

  • State Sales Tax: Applied to all physical parts, materials, and applicable flat-rate packages per state law.

  • Accepted Payment Methods: Cash, Debit, and all Major Credit Cards.

  • Pricing Transparency Policy

Pickup, Storage, and Abandoned Firearms Policy 

 

Pickup Window

Once you are notified that your firearm is ready for transfer, you must complete pickup within 7 calendar days, unless prior arrangements are made in writing (text/email is fine).

 

Storage Fees

If the firearm is not picked up within 7 days, a storage fee of $10 per day will apply for up to 10 days, capped at $100 maximum.

 

Abandoned / Unclaimed Firearms

If the firearm is not picked up after the additional 10-day storage period (total of 17 days from notification), it will be considered unclaimed/abandoned and may be disposed of, transferred into inventory, or sold by RTF3TX LLC in accordance with all applicable federal and Texas laws.

All accrued storage fees and applicable costs remain the responsibility of the purchaser/recipient.
