This Shipping & Receiving Policy applies to RTF3TX Gunsmithing (RTF3TX LLC) and is intended to set clear expectations for customers shipping firearms, firearm parts, and accessories to us for service.
1) FFL Transfers Into RTF3TX (Buyer Responsibility)

Any FFL transfer shipped into RTF3TX Gunsmithing is the sole responsibility of the buyer/customer.

This includes (as applicable):

Transfer fees charged by the shipping/sending FFL

Any receiving/processing fees required to complete the transfer

Required documentation and compliance steps (per federal, state, and local law)

RTF3TX Gunsmithing does not assume responsibility for delays, costs, or issues caused by incomplete transfer paperwork or non-compliant shipments.
2) Contact & Appointment-Only Service

Service is by appointment only (no walk-ins).

Before shipping anything, contact us to confirm:

The work requested

The correct shipping address and any special instructions

Any required paperwork

3) Safety Requirement (Unloaded Firearms)

All firearms must be unloaded before shipment or drop-off.

If a firearm arrives loaded or is repeatedly brought/shipped in an unsafe condition, service may be refused.
4) Packaging & Shipping Expectations

Customers are responsible for:

Secure packaging to prevent damage in transit

Using a reputable carrier and appropriate service level

Retaining tracking information and shipment receipts

We recommend insuring shipments for the replacement value of the item.
5) Receiving, Inspection, and Turnaround

Upon receipt, items are logged and visually inspected.

If shipment contents do not match the stated work request, or if there is shipping damage, we will contact you before proceeding.
6) Return Shipping

Return shipping costs, insurance, and any required adult-signature services are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
